Back to El Salvador!

Did you know that the vast majority of medical care team members are past middle age (many are retired). It is a difficult thing for a young medical professional to have the finances or get the time off to go on a humanitarian trip.

Daniel is currently gearing up to head back to El Salvador the first of March. This team will be a different experience for him because it will mostly consist of medical and college students (with a few of the "more experienced" medical team members to guide them). Daniel says that working with the El Salvador Master's Commission students was such a humbling experience. He is very interested in seeing the impact they have with the American students on the team also.

Prayer partners start praying now for the impact of the team on the communities they give medical aid to. Also, pray for the hearts of the young Americans going down that they will seek God in their future careers and have a soft heart towards missions.

We shall keep you posted.

Welcome to the world of paperwork!

One reason why my paperwork doesn't get done fast.

The kids doing some of their paperwork.

I've been a bad blogger. It seems that life just runs on fast forward in our household and blogging gets pushed way down the list. However, I have determined to become more techno-savy and get this blogging stuff down.

People have said they just need little notes to keep up with us along the way. So here is my attempt at this.

The last 2 months have been filled with paperwork for us. Turning in our paperwork for full-time humanitarian work seems to have only been the first step. Phone calls, meetings, more letters and paperwork seem to be step #2.

Going over every detail of your life can be a little daunting at times.... yet it has been quite "cleansing" too. (Now if I could get some help "cleansing" my attic.) There is just something about putting everything in order that is weight lifting.

Well, gotta' go and lift some more "weights" today.

Pray for us to become more organized in this part of the mission.
